RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Principle Research Investigator . Fall 2002 to Spring 2003. Examined the variables shaping performance, attrition, and satisfaction in students enrolled in Blackboard-based online and traditional courses. Collaborated with the Director of Electronic Learning for Northwestern State University and Blackboard, Inc. for this project.

 Principle Research Investigator . Fall 2001 to 2002. Examined how college adjustment is influenced by coping styles, computer and Internet self-efficacy, and Internet usage.

 Principle Research Investigator . Spring 2001 to 2002. Examined how stress and coping experienced by college student shape adaptive or maladaptive usage of computers and the Internet. Received a small grant from York College of Pennsylvania for $959.70 to support this research.

Principle Research Investigator. January 1999 to May 1999. Kansas State University . Coordinated suicide ideation research utilizing a college sample at Kansas State University . Supervised a team of undergraduate research assistants in different phases of the study including data collection and analysis. Presented preliminary results to the University Counseling Services, the counseling center at Kansas State University.
